Projects

In this project, we performed data mining from the Amazon product metadata that are available on the Stanford repository. The output is SQL insert statements that insert the Amazon metadata into a MySQL database for data analytics. The source code is available on GitHub.

Process:

  1. 1.Reviewed and created a SQL schema to store the Amazon meta
  2. 2.Created a Python function that extracts the metadata and generates SQL insert statements
  3. 3.Ran SQL insert statements to store data into the database
  4. 4.Ready for data analytics or building recommendation systems
